				| The August 9 DB challenged me. Skyscraper (1), W-wing (38) and finally a BUG+1. There must be a more direct solution.

				| Yours is much more direct than mine. I played five assorted moves before the W-Wing on 38 finished it off. | |

				| I could use some help, please. This is where I am and I can't see a skyscraper on 1 or a w wing on 38. What am I missing?

				| Kathy,
The skyscraper in 1's is in columns 2 and 6, eliminating the 1 from R6C4.
After subsequent basic eliminations, there is a w-wing (38) in columns 8 and 9, based on a pair of 8's in R 1. Then you will need a BUG+1 (or some other trick) to finish it off.

				| In the grid shown, there is a W-Wing on 14 in boxes 3 and 4, connected by the 1s in r1 and which eliminate the 4 from r5c9. That exposes a W-Wing on 38 in boxes 6 and 9 connected by the 8s in c7 which eliminates 3 from r4c8 and r8c9 which leads to more eliminations. | |
