After basics.
Hi Earl - I saw it this way:
Look at r8c5 - with r37c4 its part of an almost <139> XY wing but there is an extra 3 in r8c5.
If that 3 is FALSE then the XY wing solves the puzzle as r1c5, r9c4 <> 9
OR
If that 3 is TRUE then r8c3 = 9, r6c3 = 7 and r4c1 = 8 which also solves the puzzle
We don't care if the 3 is there or not. |

Footnote
A simple inspection shows that the 3 can't exist in r8c5.
If it did, you would have two 9's in block 7 at r8c3 and r9c1 and that would never do. |
