Gianni,

How does one interpret the notation? Specifically, the cell designation followed by a hyphen and a number, such as r2c2-7? Below is an XY-Chain written in Eureka notation.

(4=5)r2c7-(5=7)r2c2-(7=4)r2c1-(4=6)r7c1 (6=9)r7c4-(9=7)r5c4-(7=4)r1c4=> -4r1c79

Here is a shorter way to write it: (4=5)r2c7-(5=74)r2c21-(4=69)r7c14-(9=74)r51c4=> -4r1c79

Hi Marty,
I don't know the Eureka notation well and I used an indication that i think simple:
r2c7 is connected to r2c2 with number 5,
r2c2 is connected to r2c1 with number 7 and so on.

I promise that next time I will try to use the examples you gave me, but they are so looooooooooong Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Ciao Gianni

Gianni,

Use whatever you're comfortable with. If you should have any questions about Eureka, just ask, I'd be willing to help.
