				| A week's wait brings a VH with a variety of one-step solutions.
 Solutions: 145 xyz-wing eliminates 5 in R1C7; or coloring eliminates the 1 in R1C5; or 145 xy-wing elminates 1 in R1C5.

There is an xy wing in boxes 1 & 2. I found it first, and then found the xyz wing that Earl references. Hence I thought this was a 2-step puzzle. Perhaps the xy wing was unnecessary if the xyz wing is used.
On further inspection, the xy wing in boxes 1 & 2, opens up another xy wing in boxes 1 & 2, and that leads to a solution where Earl's xyz wing becomes unnecessary.

				| It was a one step xy wing for me in Block 1 and 2.
The 14-45-15 xy wing removes the 1 from R1C5 and R2C1.

				| YES. A 'scraper does it. Nice find. The 'scraper causes the c7r9 cell to be 5, and on it goes.

kind of in conjuction with the many ways to color 4, and since it wasn't mentioned yet, the w-wing {45} eliminates 5 from r1c7

 (5=4)r1c6 - (4)r1c3 = (4)r9c3 - (4=5)r9c7; r1c7 <> 5
