Kathy,

Thanks for the reply however, I still don't see it. How did you fill in the 1, 2 & 9 in row 8 (col 5, 7 & 9). That looks like the key to me

I can usually do these pretty easily however this one was a problem. With the first response, row 9, col 7 must be a 7 not a pivot. As far as the w wings from the 46's in box 7, I don't see them elimi ...

There is a XY wing with the pivot in box 8 (38). After that I went fast for me.

Thanks for the replies.

I guess my problem was more an issue of definitions. I think of an X wing following an AB, BC, AC format. The elimination in row 5 was the results of small chains, which I ...

I may be blind today but I don't see the x-wing in Col. 3 & 7. Could someone be more descriptive. Also, how did you eliminate the 8 in R5 C3?

I didn't find any wings however I found that if R3C2 is a 1 then you have a bug situation. Place the 9 there and the puzzle solves quickly.

I used a short chain of "9s" in col. 1 & 3 which led to an xy wing in col. 1 that broke the puzzle for me. A nice Sunday exercise.

I used the the 46-46-68 x-wing to eliminate the 6 in r7c3. This eventually exposed the ER in box 1 & 2 which broke the puzzle.

I can't believe there is only two comments on this VH. I found an ER in rows 5 & 8 eliminated the 5 in R8 C3 and exposed an X wing that broke the puzzle.

It must be Friday however, I can't see the x-wing that eliminates the 7's in rows 4 & 9 col. 9. Could someone be more specific.

I was also stopped at the same spot. Also, how were the 1's eliminated in row 2?
